There are so many toxic things we all do every day, unknowing. We do so many things and habits that are very poisonous and harmful to our bodies, but most of us are unaware of them.
We all need to want to change our lives, but quitting toxic habits can be challenging.
We all have the power to change. All we need is the courage to change our bad habits. We can grow into the person we were meant to be.
In this article, I have written about habits that you need to quit immediately and how you can quit.

1. WAKING UP LATE
Are you a personality who wakes up very late? If yes, you must know this is the most toxic habit you have been following for years?
Waking up late can make your day lazy and dull. Also, it just cut off so much time.
The research also found late risers were more likely to have a range of mental and physical illnesses.
But why do you wake up late?
Well, the apparent reason is you are sleeping too late.

There are endless reasons to sleep late, but the most common is you waste too much time on the phone, tv, social media, watching videos, and talking.

2. USING THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY AFTER WAKING UP
Honestly, do you also use your phone just after waking up? Almost 90% of people start using their phones after waking up.
You should never use your phone just after waking up early in the morning, but why?
You are priming your brain for distraction by checking your phone right after waking up.
Reading something negative in the morning can trigger your stress response and put you on edge for the rest of the day.
If you plan to study early in the morning, it distracts your mind from reading and learning.
So instead of using your phone, you must follow this perfect morning routine for every age.
3. NOT BATHING
LOL, I know this is so weird, but some people skip their bath; for a day, it is ok, but if you miss a tub for 2 or days, then this is not ok.
You know what? Not bathing regularly also gives you so much negativity.
- Increased body odor.
- Acne.
- Flare-ups of skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
- Skin infections.
- Areas of dark or discoloured skin.
Also weird feelings and guilt, try to take a bath regularly.
4. SKIPPING BREAKFAST
Stop skipping breakfast because you are too late for work or lazy to make it.
Skipping breakfast harms your body because this is the first meal after an 8 to 9-hour fast.
Try not to skip breakfast insert if you are late or lazy; try quick recipes.
5. NOT STAYING ORGANIZED
I am very organized; do you know why I became such an organized person? Because when I was not collected, I always used to leave all my work for the last time.
And then, my work was never used to get completed, and I was always left with pending work, the most stressful moment.

6. NOT LOVING YOURSELF
Being in the race for perfection, we stop loving ourselves and become very harsh.
Competition is ok. In fact, it increases your productivity; but, don’t be too harsh on yourself.

7. NOT TAKING CARE OF YOUR SKIN.
Who doesn’t want that healthy without pimple acne and bright, beautiful skin? You need to take care of your skin, right?
Many people, including me ( yeah, you heard that right ), do not care about skin; I sit 24/7 in front of the laptop and have a dark circle, but that is entirely ok.
But at least you can have a regular skincare routine to avoid acne pimples.
8. SKIPPING EXERCISE
Well, suppose you too have work like me, sitting all day. In that case, you must follow strict exercise every day; not doing exercise and sitting all day can cause increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist and unhealthy cholesterol levels.
Exercise for 30 min is more than enough; if you sit continuously for more than 1 hour, take a quick walk for 2 min.
9. OVERTHINKING
Everyone is an overthinker; you are not alone, don’t worry. Overthinking does make our life toxic a lot.

I am from a family who always thinks about society and comparative examples.
- You cannot go there
- You cannot wear this or that.
- You can not do this or that.

11. NOT PAMPERING YOURSELF
Well, many times, we do not take care of ourselves like

- getting relax
- pampering yourself
- not drinking enough water
- not complementing yourself
- not getting 8 hours of sleep
- not being fit
- not doing any exercise
And that is very toxic; you should never treat yourself that harshly.

12. WORKING A LOT
Productivity is good, but being over workaholic can be stressful; if you are working 24/7, you are just a robot who can perform an entire day without living his/her life.

Make a proper plan and divide your working hour and your self-care hour.
13. LEAVING THINGS FOR THE LAST MINUTE
Well, this was the worst habit I used to do a year ago; if you keep all your work for the last minute, you never gonna complete it, right?

14. LIVING IN A NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT
What is a hostile environment?
A hostile work environment is a toxic environment where you feel like

- not getting your chance

- not being you
Leave that place immediately. Studies show that living with a billionaire can make us a billionaire, but living with toxic people can also make us unhealthy.

15. COMPARING

Comparing your 10 chapters with someone 100 branches is useless; this will just give you anxiety, depression, and not feeling worthy of it.
You are different, which is your power; use it wisely instead of comparing.
16. NOT WALKING
Are you also working 24/7 sitting in front of your laptop or computer? You must follow some activities to make yourself a little more active.

Anything, you are never gonna get your perfect time; there will be something left at the end to complete.
Just don’t wait for the perfect time or perfection.
Start doing your work or keep working hard to perfect that perfect dream day.
18. TOXIC RELATIONSHIP
AHH, stop being emotional.
What is a toxic relationship?
A toxic relationship makes you feel unsupported, misunderstood, demeaned, or attacked.
You cannot enjoy your life in a toxic relationship with anyone.
Breaking up is the most challenging part when you have to plan everything, right? But it is far better to leave that person who is being toxic in your life.

19. TOO MUCH SOCIAL MEDIA
Nowadays, we waste too much energy and time on social media looking at and following people we don’t know; 90% of our generation spends most of their time on Instagram, Youtube, and watching Netflix.
Well, if you are one of them, then you are not alone; it will be super challenging to avoid social media in 2023, but also fun, right? Let’s try
You don’t need to delete or remove any app from your phone; just avoid opening any app which distracts you from your work the entire day and use it for an hour in your free time; this will definitely help you to know yourself more.
20. NAIL BITING
Biting nails ahh, I, too, have this habit but trust me, this is so unhygienic and harmful for your body. Stop biting your nails.
21. JUNK FOOD
We all love junk food, don’t we? but of course, junk food is not healthy for your body, and the 2023 goal must be healthy and fit.
It’s tough to stop eating junk food immediately, but you can slow it down; try avoiding unhealthy food as much as possible.
22. SMOKING/DRINKING
I don’t know anything about smoking and drinking, but I do feel wrong about it, so I try to avoid and stay away from it. Don’t even try.
23. NOT READING BOOKS
Reading books is crucial for gaining knowledge, trust me reading a book has so many benefits, you don’t have to give hours, 5 to 30 min book reading is more than enough.
24. NOT SLEEPING ON TIME
Self-care is crucial, you should be your first priority, and you know that sleeping is best if you are pampering yourself.
Save time on your phone at night (you should only use your phone after sleeping). Keep your phone aside and try to sleep.
