Set weekly goals if you want to reach your long-term goals
are you also thinking about what is a weekly goal well, let me tell you
weekly goals are short goals that help you achieve your long-term goals like monthly and yearly goals?
If you are setting up a long-term goal but have not achieved it yet, then let me tell you that’s because you have been setting your goal too long, which sounds hard to complete, correct?
But what if setting a smaller goal that is easy to achieve sounds good. Right?
People don’t achieve their goals because it’s too long for them to achieve them, and they don’t even have a strategy.
Think like this we all do year resolution every year, but we never complete or even try to complete thats because yearly goals its huge to maintain. Like our journey, we all promise to write, but we never continue.
WHY WEEKLY GOALS ARE IMPORTANT
Weekly goals are gold because they help you quickly achieve your main goal. Weekly goals are manageable and easy to complete.
For example, if you want to lose weight, then you must have to exercise every week for at least 10min
Your main goal breaks down and turns into a weekly plan, and you get a step-by-step process to achieve success.
Yearly goals are hard to achieve because it’s always too long for our minds to continue for you to complete them, just like our annual resolution.
Well, how to follow weekly goals? Let see
DIVIDE ALL YOUR GOALS
now here I am talking about all your goals like your life goal, half-yearly goals, monthly goal as well as a weekly goal
if we divide our main goal into half-yearly and monthly it will be easy for us to complete that tasks within that time, and we will not delay our work just like we say, yeah, I will just from tomorrow
it’s like if someone says I need to lose weight this year, but he doesn’t have a proper strategy, so he keeps delaying his work, thinking that he has a whole year, but instead of this if that guy has an appropriate approach like not eating junk food and try to lose weight every week then he has more chances to achieve
right?
right down, your main goal
the main goal could be focusing on a career, building a business, being healthy, giving time to family
SET THIS AS WEEKLY GOAL
Now here comes the fun part: set this weekly goal according to yourself.
Here you have to set your goal just to complete them quickly.
For example, if you are a blogger like me, you can set 2 or 3 blog posts every week and nine blog posts every month.
example 2: if you are a student and you want good grades, then set a goal to complete any chapter in 2 to 3 days and complete your book within 2 to 3 months
So this is how you set up your weekly, monthly also yearly goals.
KEEP YOUR GOAL IN FRONT OF YOU
This is the best trick I use to maintain my productivity. I always keep my to-do list in front of my desk so that I can complete it within the day. you can also keep it as a google calendar so that you won’t forget, or you can check it whenever it’s needed
If you are not a productive person like I was, you must check out this article productivity.
